HOW TO CHOOSE A LOCATION?
In a family photo shooting it is best to combine home and street shooting. Children are always more confident at home. They act more naturally.
We can shoot the real story of your family in a comfortable way for everyone.
Nothing special is required: renovation, beautiful lighting, and so on. It is only necessary to clean up the things. Nothing else is important - it will go to the background, into a blur. For small apartments I have a wide angle lens. Meanwhile my photo lamp will create beautiful light at home.
Nothing scary in home shooting!
Next we can go outside and take more long-range and dynamic shots.
Individual and couple photo shooting: we will choose the best location depending on your requirements and scenario. Do not be afraid of rain, snow, cloudy weather - in any weather you can make wonderful shots. I believe spending 1-2 hours to get into the best location is worth it.
DO I NEED TO POSE?
You don't have to know how to pose and you don't need to learn poses before a photo shoot. Just be yourself. Act naturally with love. At a photoshoot, you can just cook a cake for everyone together, play catch-up, run with a kite, sing, dance, play with your pets. This way the shots will be about you, about your family, about your love.
Children do not have to sit straight and look into the frame during the photo session. They can play, fool around. My task is to catch a beautiful moment.
Sometimes, I may ask you to do certain actions: hug, get together, play with the children - in general, I will guide you, but we do not need any special postures.
The same principles work for an individual photo session and a photo session for a couple - just be yourself.

HOW TO DRESS FOR A PHOTO SESSION?
1. Opt for Classic Styles
Classic clothing styles work best for photos as they don’t go out of fashion. Avoid overly trendy pieces that might look dated in a few years.
2. Avoid Busy Patterns
Simple patterns or solid colors are preferable as they keep the focus on the subjects rather than the clothing. If you choose patterns, make sure they are subtle.
3. Avoid Sleeveless Tops
It’s advisable not to wear sleeveless tops. There’s a chance that even slim arms might look slightly “flattened” in photos if pressed against your body.
4. Layering is Key
Layering can add depth and interest to your outfit. Consider adding jackets, scarves, or cardigans.
5. Pay Attention to Fit
Ensure that your clothes fit well and are comfortable. Avoid overly tight or loose clothing as they can be unflattering in photos. It’s better if one of the pieces is voluminous and the other is fitted. Or both can be voluminous with a belt at the waist. For men, it’s better to choose lighter, non-fitted trousers instead of jeans for the photoshoot. This choice enhances comfort and ensures a more polished look
6. Choose the Right Fabrics
Opt for fabrics that don’t wrinkle easily.
7. Accessorize Wisely
Keep accessories minimal and choose ones that enhance your outfit rather than distract from it. Simple jewelry or a watch (except for smartwatches) can add a nice touch.
8. Avoid Logos and Text
Avoid clothing with large logos or text as they can be distracting. Solid colors or subtle patterns are a better choice.
9. Jeans are not always a good idea for a photoshoot
Wearing jeans for a photoshoot might not be the best choice because they can often look too casual and limit your styling options. Opting for more polished and elegant outfits can help you achieve a more refined and timeless look in your photos. However, looser jeans paired with a white blouse could be a good option.
*Family Photoshoot:* Coordinated colors such as soft pastels or earth tones work well. Everyone can wear varying shades of the chosen color.
*Couple Photoshoot:* Romantic and elegant outfits like a flowy dress for her and a well-fitted shirt and trousers for him can create a cohesive look.
*Solo Portraits:* Opt for outfits that highlight your best features. Solid colors or subtle patterns are ideal, with minimal accessories.
*For a maternity photoshoot:* It’s better to avoid wearing a black dress, as the belly may not be visible in the photos. For example, H&M offers many beautiful and affordable maternity dresses.
